Cleaning Up Here and Overseas

V.I.P. Soap Products (V.I.P.) have been cleaning up in the all-natural cleaning solutions market since 1951, and with consumers becoming more environmentally conscious, the company is now set to expand to meet both local and international demand. Their success comes in part from their ability to offer truly Canadian merchandise, driven by the philosophy that environmental products should be no more expensive to purchase than other cleaning brands, while cleaning just as effectively.

As a family run business, President Keith Bozman works alongside his wife Tami, their sons Mark and Justin and extended family members, who all have roles in the head office and manufacturing plant in Mission, as well as in Kelowna, where the manufacturing of bottles is located.   Moving the business to Mission in 1996, they have grown from eight employees to 60, with 50 living here in the community and this is set to increase again with the addition of a new 40,000 Sq. Ft. building in 2017.

Continued Research and Development is critical in this field and V.I.P. has two full time chemists and two lab assistants enabling them to stay ahead of their competitors. As Bozman explains “The boundaries are constantly changing and components that are deemed environmentally friendly one year may have their status changed the next”. They are industry leaders in biodegradable and all natural formula production, with stringent quality control that has gained the attention of both domestic and international markets. Their client base now includes shipments to countries including the USA, Japan, China and Korea with two 40 foot containers shipping overseas per week with “Made in Canada” proudly on display.
