A tech specific jobs portal has just been launched to recruit and retain tech talent in the Fraser Valley, Fraser Valley Tech Jobs

With the cost of living continuing to rise across B.C. more people are choosing to move to the Fraser Valley to save on residential expenses and cost of doing business. Tech talent and industry is no exception and this site caters for both employers and employees looking to lose the commute by working locally.

Raymond Szabada, Chairman of the Board & CEO, SRCTec, noted, “Our new job board will allow local tech talent to connect with local employers and begin to facilitate attraction of outside talent. Fraser Valley Tech Jobs will allow employers and employees to realize and tap-in to the potential of the tech industry in the Fraser Valley. We’re excited to be a part of the evolution and growth of the Fraser Valley tech industry; this is one of many projects SRCTec is introducing to the region.”

Stacey Crawford, Economic Development Officer, District of Mission added, “We have worked closely with SRCTec over the past year in the spirit of solution-oriented collaboration to address a challenge voiced by many Fraser Valley businesses: How do we attract and recruit technology talent to our region? Today, we are proud to introduce the first step in addressing this question with the launch of Fraser Valley Tech Jobs.com.”
